Sparr.fun ("we", "us") operates a live video debate platform. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Account data — username, anonymous or email-based auth via Supabase.
  • Debate content — topics, comments, votes, likes, and optional debate recordings you create.
  • Camera & microphone — used only during live debates through LiveKit when you grant permission.
  • Location — country derived from your IP address at signup (stored as a country code, not your full IP).

How we use data

We use your information to run debates, display leaderboards, moderate content, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

User-generated content

Debates may include mature language or controversial opinions. You are responsible for what you post. We may remove content and ban users for nudity, hate speech, harassment, or excessive profanity.

Third-party services

  • Supabase — authentication, database, file storage
  • LiveKit — real-time video and audio
  • Vercel — hosting

Data retention

We retain debate data and recordings while your account and content remain active. You may request deletion by contacting us.

Children

Sparr.fun is for users 18 and older only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
